Coffee & Cops. In an effort to build stronger relationships with our CMPD Community Police Officers and to help neighbors stay informed about local crime and crime prevention, beginning in April 2017 the Grove Park Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Watch Coordinator will begin hosting a monthly meeting with CMPD. This will be an opportunity for neighbors to ask our CMPD Community Coordinators questions in an informal setting at one of Grove Park’s local restaurants. Meeting announcements will be shared by emails from the GP Neighborhood Watch Coordinator as well as posted on Nextdoor and Facebook.
Quarterly Neighborhood Meetings. The Grove Park Neighborhood Association typically meets quarterly at the Hickory Grove Recreation Center. Meet neighbors and stay up-to-date on current issues and crime updates. Meeting notices are posted at each entrance of the neighborhood at least one week prior to each meeting.
Grove Park Block Captains. Grove Park has more than 20 volunteer block captains. These neighbors are largely responsible for delivering the Grove Park Gazette. However, if you have a concern related to your specific block, please contact your block captain.
