Spring Grove Park Garden Tour
In May of every other year, the Grove Park-Ravenwood Garden Club hosts a free public tour of private gardens in Grove Park and Ravenwood. The tour kicks off at the Triangle (Terry Lane and Lakeside Drive). The event also includes an arts & crafts and plant sale. Be a garden host and share your beautiful garden with visitors, volunteer to help with planning, coordination or brochure design, or just visit & enjoy the gardens each year. Pictures of 2016 Tour.
Hickory Grove Fourth of July Parade

One of the longest running annual July 4 parades in Charlotte, the Hickory Grove Parade and day-long celebration have been taking place in our community for over 50 years. Bring your lawn chair and watch the parade with your neighbors at Grove Park’s entrances on Harris Blvd (between Robinson Church & Williams Roads). Better yet, gather your neighbors, family and friends and decorate a pickup truck or your family bicycles and participate in the parade itself! Prizes are awarded for best parade float and kids bicycle décor. Volunteers are also needed to help with fundraising, logistics and more.
Neighborhood Night Out
Meet your neighbors at the annual Neighborhood Night Out (NNO). Grove Park and Ravenwood have been co-hosting this annual event, generally in August or September, for years, usually accompanied by ice cream, watermelon and kids activities. Who doesn’t love free ice cream? Volunteers needed to help plan, serve ice cream, and facilitate kids’ activities.
Fall Fest / Tree Banding
Grove Park Neighborhood Association has played an important role in helping protect our tree canopy from the harmful effects of the fall cankerworm. Join your neighbors in saving our trees.
